Experience
Allied Home Inspection, LLC. offers home buyers more
than 39
years experience. Every inspection is performed in accordance with
the State
of Connecticut Regulations Concerning Home Inspectors and the Code
of Ethics
of the American Society of Home Inspectors, Inc. We have performed
many
thousands of inspections from the smallest houses and condominiums
to the
largest house in Connecticut.
Service & Support
Allied Home Inspection, LLC. is a full-time,
full
service home inspection company. Our only business is the
performance of
quality home inspections and related testing. We strongly encourage
our
clients to attend the home inspection because it is a valuable
learning
experience. When we complete the inspection, we will summarize our
findings
and answer any questions you may have.
We have a full-time office staff. When you call us during normal
office
hours you will be able to talk to either our Office Manager or one
of our
inspectors who will be able to answer all your questions.
When needed, Allied can provide written summary sheets usually
within hours
of your inspection. Fax service is available.
For a period of one year after the inspection, telephone
consultation is
offered between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through
Friday.
This service is free of charge.
Commitment
Allied is committed to acting in a fair, impartial and
professional manner so that you can make a sound purchasing decision
based
on accurate and objective information. Home inspections and testing
are
Allied's only business. Allied does not do any construction,
remodeling or
repair work and, although licensed to do so, we do not do any
termite or
wood boring insect treatment work. We also do not perform any work
related
to radon mitigation, the removal of asbestos or its encapsulation or
the
removal of lead paint. To avoid the possibility of a conflict of
interest,
inspections and testing should only be performed by companies such
as Allied
who do not have any interest in the outcome of the inspection or
testing.
Reputation
Allied Home Inspection, LLC is recognized by former
clients,
mortgage companies, attorneys, government agencies and real estate
agents as
the leading local provider of professional home inspections.
Report
Allied's inspections, oral summaries and written reports are
the
most comprehensive in the profession. Our report is a narrative
style type
written report which averages about sixty pages in length. This
report is
prepared uniquely for you and will provide you with all the
information you
will need in a logical, easily understood format. Each of the major
systems
in the house is discussed in a separate section in non-technical
language.
Each section has a more detailed explanation of defects that are
listed on
the summary page, as well as a description of the type of systems or
major
components contained in the house. The report may be considered a
"homeowner's manual" that can be referred to for years to come.
Don't be misled by home inspectors who emphasize that you will
receive a
report " the time of the inspection". What you will receive is a
pre-printed
checklist form with possibly some handwritten notations. Allied does
not
utilize this type of report because it can not provide you with all
the
detailed information you will need and will receive with our
reporting
system.
