Special Features of Allied's Detailed Narrative Report
GBC Binding System: Pages turn easily and report lies flat. A
"keeper" for
future reference.
Report Summary: A "glance" at the beginning of the report
will provide you
with the important information (abbreviated form) that you will need
to
have.
Detailed Report: This section alone is approximately 30 pages
long. Each
major component or system is discussed in a separate section. There
is also
a more detailed explanation of the defects listed in the report
summary
Optional Reports: Any optional inspection reports (termite,
radon, lead
paint, water testing, septic testing, etc.) are located in this
separate
section.
General Information: This section provided useful information
on home maintenance, roofs, wet basements, exterior walls, attic
ventilation,
electrical power & safety, energy conservation & insulation and hose
pests.
Connecticut Home Inspection Standards of Practice: This is
our guide in the
performance of our home inspections. These standards are the most
widely
accepted home inspection guidelines in use and are recognized by
many
government, professional and legal authorities as the definitive
standard
for professional performance.
In addition to the separate sections of the detailed report, you
will also
receive a separate envelope containing your original Wood Destroying
Insect
Infestation Inspection Report, commonly referred to as the "termite
report".
We utilize form NPCA-1 which is approved for FHA/VA, CHFA, DOH and
conventional mortgages. For your convenience, the original report is
enclosed in a separate envelope inserted in the front cover of your
detailed
home inspection report. A copy of the original is also located in
the
optional section of your home inspection report.
An explanation of our nine optional reports
We provide as many as nine optional inspections and tests in
addition to our
"Basic Pre-Purchase Inspection". Allied Home Inspection, LLC offers
this
"full-line" service so that the home buyer can obtain all necessary
inspections and tests from one source. This results in time and cost
savings
to you.
Of course, the most important reason for adding optional inspections
and
test is to help protect your family's health and well-being.
Detecting the
presence of bacteria or other contaminants in well water, elevated
levels or
radon gas, or the existence of lead paint or asbestos is important.
In
addition, discovering termites or other wood boring insects,
problems with
the septic system or formaldehyde gas in the home allows you to
resolve
these problems usually before purchase. Without inspecting or
testing prior
to purchase, you would probably never know of their presence until
it was
too late.
